Awards We Have Won

Since it's inception in 1995, Li'l Hank's Guide For Songwriters has received several awards, a fact which up until now, has not been published. Lately, it has occurred to me that not to display these awards would be a gross misservice not only to those who have seen fit to bestow them, but to those whose efforts and contributions to the content of this site made it as popular a resource as it has become.

Of particular note, Hal Cohen, who answers most of the email and fields the questions relating to live performing at the roots level and internet related topics; Lynne Robin Green for her articles on music publishing and "Inspiration Point interviews" also thanks to Diane Baumgartner,Benny Ray and Billy Cioffi; J.C. Press for his "Lawman" articles and legal advice, all those who contributed Tales of the Road Warriors and everynoe who has sent in showcase updates or "Ask Li'l Hank" questions.

The awards are for various aspects of the site; design, content, graphics, integrity, usefulness, accesibility, etc. These Awards are for all of you. Congratulations!

Independent Songwriters Web Magazine Award For Site Integrity and Excellence Independent Songwriter Web-Magazine selects one website every two months for our award. The schedule for award presentation is as follows: January 1 - March 1 - May 1 - July 1 - September 1 - November 1 ........since we only give out 6 awards per year, websites need to meet certain basic criteria for consideration.

The criteria is simple. If your website helps promote and support independent music, then you qualify for consideration.
